The Springs Memorial Cycleway 1915-2015 commemorates soldiers from Springs County, Springston and Lincoln townships, Lincoln University and those further afield, who died during the First World War. The 2.6 kilometre cycleway runs from Everest Way in Springston along the south side of Ellesmere Junction Road to the Child Care Centre at Lincoln University where it connects to existing pathways alongside the road by Lincoln University.
Formerly opened April 25, 2015 by Mayor Kelvin Coe, the cycleway will be part of a wider cycling development.
