Telegraph message dated 9 June 1915 stating that Morris Connington Brown has been killed in action.
Morris Brown was a corporal in the Otago Infantry Battalion. He was killed at Gallipoli in early May 1915 during an unsuccessful attempt to enlarge the Anzac perimeter by capturing a key hill known as Baby 700 from the Ottoman Turks.
