This man is Alexander Uhlig. joined 4th battalion,General Goring Regt. 1937. April 1938 1st Company,1st Parachute Regt.After Poland in 1940 joined flying personnel Special Purpose Bomber Squadron.He saw action over Crete in this.Joined 6th Parachute Regt,leader of 8th Company March 1943.Won Knights Cross October 29th,1944 Carentan,Normandy. born Feb 9th,1919 died 2009.
