Walker's Ridge panorama, Gallipoli

For best results we recommend viewing this panorama in full screen mode.

This view from near Walker's Ridge Cemetery looks down towards the Sphinx, Mule Gully below it, and Ari Burnu Point in the distance. To the right is Walker's Ridge (largely obscured by trees). The ridge takes its name from a British officer, Brigadier-General Harold Walker, who replaced the sick Brigadier-General Francis Johnston as commander of New Zealand Infantry Brigade during the landing at Anzac Cove on 25 April 1915.

(Turn on the hotspots option to find links to panoramas from the perspective of the Plugge’s Plateau, Ari Burnu Point and the Anzac commemorative site).
