Annie Andrew, known as Zerl, was born in New Zealand in 1870 – the daughter of John Andrew and Ellen Mann. (See 302 Mrs Andrew)
When Annie signed the suffrage petition she was living with her mother in Hampden in North Otago.
She married Robert Douglas Aitchison, a stud shepherd, in 1912 – they had no children.
Robert died in 1935 in Dunedin and Annie died on 5 August 1966 in Oamaru.
They are buried in the Hampden Cemetery.
