This Archives New Zealand film about the history of the New Zealand School Journal shows extracts from the Journal, original art works that appeared in it, and black and white 16-mm motion picture footage of children at school in the 1940s. The film highlights the fact that many of the country’s best known writers and artists have contributed to the Journal.
