View over the port of Qingdao in northern China, date unknown. The larger ship in the background is the German light cruiser SMS Köln. The Köln was sunk on 28 August 1914 off the coast of Germany during the First Battle of Heligoland Bight - one of the first major naval battles of the First World War.
