The Taylors Mistake war memorial is dedicated to members of the surf club who died in the First World War. A plaque for members killed in the Second World War has been added at a later date.

Does anyone know if this memorial is on the NZ historic trust register? I can't find it and want to snarf it for markeroni.com!

Hi Frank
Thanks for your contributions, would you happen to have a photo of this memorial we could add?
In reply to your first post, here is another story about a man and a donkey at Gallipoli.
