Image

In 1989 members of the Tauranga RSA planted 120 native trees alongside Keith Allen Memorial Drive. On 12 January 1989 the Mayor of Tauranga Noel Pope unveiled the accompanying plaque: “These trees were planted / in memory of / all those from / Western Bay of Plenty / who gave their lives / in all conflicts / since 1900.”
