Marlborough versus South Canterbury, 17 August 1974.
'It's ours!' South Canterbury skipper Ken Milne holds up the Ranfurly Shield after his team beat Marlborough 18-6 at Blenheim. The defeat ended Marlborough's seven-match run as shield holders, which had begun with a shock victory over Canterbury in July 1973.
