I am so glad to have tracked down 2nd lieutenant John Stewart Dagg to his home town. I have been trying to find out more about him after finding his name on a memorial plaque in a church-now-gallery in Brighton, E.Sussex, England, where he was born. I wonder if he still has family in Auckland. I am doing my utmost to bring him into the public's attention along with some of the other names on the plaque.
