First World War hero Reginald Judson, pictured wearing his Victoria Cross (VC), circa 1920. Judson was one of New Zealand’s most decorated soldiers of the war, winning a Distinguished Conduct Medal (DCM), Military Medal (MM), and VC for bravery.
