An Airco DH.9A of the Royal Air Force (RAF), with examples of the bomb types carried. These aircraft served with the Independent Force, bombing industrial targets in Germany during 1918. This particular machine, pictured in northern Russia, saw service with the RAF on the Dvina River in 1919.
