The first Pukekawa hall was opened in 1907. The current community hall was opened on 26 October 1934. The hall itself is not a war memorial, but does house two district rolls of honour. One tablet lists the names of 23 men who served in the First World War, including six who died. The other tablet lists 47 men who served in the Second World War, including seven who were wounded, and one nurse (Sister E.J. Wilson).
