Portobello War Memorial

The WWII memorial installed at Portobello on the Otago Peninsula in 2010.

On 8 August 2015, a memorial plaque was unveiled near the WWII memorial plaque commemorating Lance-Corporal John Geary who had died onthe same day 100 years earlier. Geary had been a member of the Otago Mounted Rifles and the Maori Contingent.
