Ngarua Memorial Hall

Image

Ngarua’s first hall was opened in 1908. It was extended in 1913 and doubled in size in 1932. In 1946 the Ngarua District roll of honour was unveiled in the hall. Later, the Ngarua Memorial Hall was added to the old building, being opened on 1 November 1952. The hall was closed in or around 2005 and the building was offered for private sale in 2009. The roll of honour was initially transferred to a local church, but is now held in the Morrinsville Museum.
