The Ngāruawāhia RSA clubrooms were opened on 18 April 1964. The building, which is itself a war memorial, houses three rolls of honour: Ngāruawāhia School, Taupiri School, and Horotiu.

A brass plaque outside the front entrance is inscribed with the names of many of the Ngāruawāhia men who lost their lives in the two world wars. The First World War names were transcribed from the Ngāruawāhia Town School roll of honour rather than the Ngāruawāhia First World War memorial. The school’s original roll of honour is on display in the lobby inside. The decorated brass tablet is headed:

‘Pro Rege et Patria / Gallipoli, France, Egypt / 1914-1919 / Ngaruawahia / Town School’.

It lists a total of 33 former pupils and teachers by the year in which they died.

The Taupiri School roll of honour is a framed certificate headed ‘European War / 1914-1919 / Taupiri School / Be British’. It was compiled by the school’s own Roll of Honour Committee, and lists the names and ranks of 55 former pupils and teachers of the school who saw active service, including 11 who died.

The Horotiu Second World War roll of honour lists the names of 29 men who served overseas, including four who died.

The lobby also holds framed photo boards of Ngāruawāhia servicemen who died in the Second World War. (Their names are listed outside the building, on the Ngaruawahia First World War memorial, and on the roll of honour in the Ngāruawāhia War Memorial Hall.)

In 2014 the Ngāruawāhia RSA planned developing a new roll of honour.
