Information from Vince Boyle: Menzies Ferry is 8km south of Edendale. The Soldiers' Memorial was built in the school grounds, probably in 1922.

William Lindsay was my great uncle came from Glenarm Co. Antrim Ireland. He also had a brother George living over there, I believe they worked on a Honey Farm. I also believe that the man James Caldwell was their cousin from Ballymena originally.
