I am an ex Martonian and ex pupil of the Marton District High School. There is a significant War Memorial in the grounds of what is now the Marton School in Hereford Street. The memorial contains ex pupils names who died in the wars. This memorial was originally located within the assembly hall of old main building, which was demolished during the 1950's. It is now located inside the northern boundary of the school grounds. Inquiries at the school should reveal further information. Regards, Ronald Gray
