Kowai (now better known as 'Kowhai') County memorial gates to James Duthie,
surveyor to the Kowai and Ashley Districts.
Inside the cemetery is a war memorial to the men of the district who lost their lives
in the world wars, and a memorial oak commemorating the coronation of Edward VII in
1902.
