Hello I generally attend the cenotaph each remembrance day on behalf of my deceased father who was a d-day veteran however I cannot make it to London this year and would like to know the location of Eastbournes memorial I have very recently moved into the area and as yet have not got around much. Many thanks Steve

as far as I remember,the war memorial is in the grounds of muritai school,or it was when I attended in 1963-4

During Queen's Birthday weekend I took my 89 year old father (Peter Wright) to visit his old school, Muritai and he remembers the war memorial being there when he started school in 1926.
