The Doiran Memorial is located in northern Greece at the western end of the old Allied front line – an area held by the British Salonika Force (BSF) between 1916 and 1918. The memorial serves a dual purpose: it is the battle memorial of the BSF, and the place of commemoration for more than 2000 British and Commonwealth troops who died during the Salonika campaign and whose graves are not known.
