Containers falling off the Rena

The Rena losing containers as heavy swells wash across the deck on the starboard side on 12 October 2011. 

There were more than 1300 containers on the Rena, all standard 20- and 40-ft general cargo boxes held together by twistlocks on each corner. (See a detailed image of the containers here.)
