Six British pilots, probably of No. 85 Squadron pose with a captured German Fokker D.VII fighter. Introduced in April 1918, the D.VII was a superb fighter plane. Its fuselage frame was made of welded steel tubing. The aircraft was strong, fast and easy to fly. It could match any aircraft flown by the Allies.
