Canterbury Mounted Rifles unit badge

Unit patch of the Canterbury Mounted Rifles Regiment. In October 1917 General Edward Chaytor authorised the New Zealand Mounted Rifles Brigade to wear distinguishing patches in the centre of the slouch hat puggaree on both sides.
