Fish consumption has traditionally been low, as New Zealanders have relied on meat, and until quite recently, beef and sheepmeat, as sources of protein.
aunt daisy drink fishing food Food in the 20th century hangi maori food recipes seafood Thu, 01 Jan 1970 12:00:00 +1200 698 at http://www.nzhistory.net.nz Services vegetable production project, 1943 /media/photo/the-services-vegetable-production-project /media/photo/the-services-vegetable-production-project#comments Maori War Effort Organisation food gardening levin maori war effort photos Thu, 01 Jan 1970 12:00:00 +1200 1334 at http://www.nzhistory.net.nz
