A tour around Pencarrow Lighthouse

This brings back memories, my family lived at Pencarrow in 1949 and yes, conditions even then were quite harsh, with no shelter around the houses the southerly wind use to blow straight in, food was short and my Dad, Jim Smith, (first assistant) finally got a garden growing after he had to build it all in with cylone netting to stop the oppusums from eating all the vegetables...but as a child I just loved it.
