Good luck, it is great to see someone in the teaching profession keen to tell their students the unedited history of NZ. Not only has NZ been protected from its own history via the school curriculum, it has been protected from the history of the expansion of man from the regions of Africa and the Middle East because it is a sad and sorry tale of tyranny that soon makes you aware that man is not naturally a sociable creature outside of the immediate or extended family.

Unfortunately it is the suppression of this sad tale that allows the smaller less ethical elements to have the same detrimental impacts on wider society over and over again.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Services Commissioner have a large influence via the party machinery processes of "collective responsibility" that imposes the Cabinet Executive of the Government of the days doctrine of pseudo history upon society, right down to the grass roots of our education system.

This currently sees most of our public servants vetted through a Treaty educator such as Waitangi Associates, who have such a bent from the oppressed Catholic point of view that European colonialism is the only time in history that mankind has had any evil intent towards their fellow man.

This is complete and utter manipulation, for which they have been paid handsomely. Their current advertised price for this "education" is $250.00 per person. They boast that they have "educated" 30,000 lucky Kiwi's, including the many foreign CEO,s of our Crown owned Entities and State Owned Enterprises who have not a clue of our history, yet are required to ensure their departments adhere to the very broad "principles of the Treaty of Waitangi" which leaves them absolutely reliant upon the so-called Treaty "educators."

So I do hope you let us know what the response is from the school board or local "authorities" when you take it upon yourself to be telling which ever pieces of history to your students you wish to choose.

If you really want to broaden the horizons of yourself and your students, there is a great site comprehensive non bent of biased history site at link:

This all sounds a bit heavy, so before you label me some sort of zany religious type, I would like to state that I am very much what they call an Atheist Evolutionist, i.e. I don't believe in god and the theory of creation, as in my opinion there is just to much evidence that man existed on this planet well before 6-10,000 years ago. I personally see religion as a symptom of oppression, with some denominations supporting affluence and others socialism. They have always struggled to find a middle ground, which has seen extreme tyranny continually replace extreme tyranny.

It is one of humanities enduring mysteries that the fate of the many can rest in the hands of the few.

Perhaps because most people in the world rate public speaking as their greatest phobia, overcome that and the world is there for the taking if, you are that way ethically inclined.

May I also show my rude audacity to point you to my thesis on race relations in our youngest of countries

Regards All

The website http://www.historyforkids.org intricately lays out the history of the expansion of man out of Africa and the Middle East. It also gives a in depth background to all religions. Just a week ago I purchased a book for $8.95(yes) from the Warehouse called "Tyrants- histories 100 most evil despots & dictators." This book compliments the above mentioned website perfectly.

If you study the two in conjunction you will soon learn why separation of powers within any system of governance is a necessity and the protection of individual human rights essential.

You will also see why we must remain vigilant as to the integrity of our own system at all times and hopefully you might agree with me that a broader knowledge of the history of Man and that of NZ, would be far more beneficial to trying to prevent the mistakes of the past repeating as opposed to suppressing it. I believe suppressing it only makes it easier for the smaller mongrel element the exist in every sector of every culture in every society.
