New Zealand Memorial at Chunuk Bair, Gallipoli. This memorial was unveiled on 12 May 1925 by General Sir Alexander Godley, the commander of the New Zealand and Australian Division and, briefly, of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) at Gallipoli.
The memorial bears the inscription: 'In Honour of the Soldiers of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force 8th August 1915. From the Uttermost Ends of the Earth'.
